DALE OVERTON

Dale is the retired Corporate Manager of Product Integrity for the Accuride Corporation where he and his team provided technical support, applications engineering support, failure analysis, and warranty support for wheel end systems using Gunite and Accuride Wheel products.  Dale is a registered Professional Engineer with a BSME in Mechanical Engineering.  He has been a TMC/ATA member since 1992 and s Silver Spark Plug award recipient.  He served as Chairman on numerous TMC task forces and appeared frequently as an expert commentator on TMC’s Tech Talk with Dave Nemo on Sirius XM’s Road Dog Channel.  

His areas of expertise include: wheel applications; special application analysis; installation inspection and refinishing of wheels; product obsolescence replacement; wheel failure analysis; and technician training in all aspects of wheel maintenance.

JOHN FUNKE

John has 36 years of experience at Michelin North America and Tire Centers Inc. in a variety of operational and managerial positions related to Off-the-Road and Earthmover tire marketing, sales and issue resolution .  Experienced in off highway tire programs and management.  MSHA (Mine Safety & Health Administration) Form 5000-23 certified in Surface, Coal, Construction, Metal, and Nonmetal.  Management positions included OTR/EM Original Equipment Manager, as well as District Manager and National Accounts Manager and Director of Mining Business Segment.  John holds a BS degree in Marketing and Management.  He is a Marine Corps veteran.

Areas of expertise include: off highway tire selection; tire maintenance and safety management;  off highway tire failure analysis; job site analysis, and haulage/loader tire applications. 

LINCOLN DRAKE

Lincoln has 34 years of experience with Michelin North America.   The first 17 years were in Territory Sales responsible for passenger, light truck and truck tires from both fleet and dealer perspectives.  From 1995 to 2012, Lincoln's field experience was as a Field Engineer in the Michelin Customer Engineering Support department, with an emphasis on solving fleet tire operational and technical issues.  He was an active participant in the Technology and Maintenance Council's  S.2 Tire and Wheel study group for 13 years and contributed to many Recommended Practices.  During that same period he was also an member of the Society of Automotive Engineers.  Lincoln is a Tire Industry Association  Commercial Tire Service technician certified trainer.  He is an U. S. Army veteran.

Areas of expertise include, commercial tire applications and tire program analysis as well as failure analysis and technical training.
